1 Thessalonians 5:16 Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
Few verses in the Bible are this precise. Verse 16: Rejoice always. Verse 17: Pray continually. Verse 18: Give thanks in ALL circumstances... Recall that the Holy Bible is the living, breathing Word of God. What do these verses tell you? Do they say: Rejoice when good things happen? Pray when you feel like it? Give thanks when things go your way? No.
Each day, every situation and experience has been divinely placed in your life's path. God is loving on you, teaching you, guiding you, and carrying you through it all. He sent Jesus to walk with you. So take His hand and REJOICE ALWAYS, for God has blessed you beyond measure. Take His hand and PRAY CONTINUALLY, for in His sacrifice and His supplications to the Father, Jesus Christ has secured your future. Take His hand, and GIVE THANKS, for God knows you. He knows your every need, your every desire, and He knows His plans for you - plans to prosper you and to do you no harm; to give you hope and a future (Jer 29:11). Follow God, for He will fill you with love and joy, and He will make your path wide.
In everything, Rejoice, Pray, and Give Thanks.

Psalm 103:1 Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless His holy name. 2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits. 3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; 4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with loving kindness and tender mercies; 5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.
God loves it when His children come to truly worship. How is it, then, that worship can be degraded to a series of motions? Why is it that so many Christians drag themselves to church to sing the “obligatory” hymns, instead of heartily crying out to YAHWEH, each day, in eternal gratitude for the love God has poured down? When did worship become a part of the formula for church, instead of the greatest sacrifice of self? GOD HAS GIVEN YOU EVERYTHING!
We should enter His gates with thanksgiving in our hearts, and into His courts with praise! For each day, THIS DAY, is the day the LORD has made! Sing with all of your might, wail from the depths of your soul, for the LORD God reigns supreme! Bless the LORD, for He is good! He has forgiven your sins, born your illness and disease. He walks with you each day, ready to strengthen you in times of struggle, never failing in mercy and grace. In God is everything we need and desire, an overflowing fountain of Life! Worship God with everything that is within you, and never forget all He has done for you. TO GOD BE THE GLORY FOREVER AND EVER, AMEN!

Psalm 84:10 Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked.
God's presence is so complete. There is nothing that can compare to being in the presence of perfect love, joy, peace, hope and rest. Once you have truly found His presence you will only want for more. Nothing in this world is as glorious as communion with the Holy One, the Lion of Judah, Yea and Amen, I AM. In Christ there is only promise, no matter what the world brings. Remain in Him, that He would keep you safe from harm, and instead use you for His good will.
Has God been good to you? Do you pursue Him each day with such zeal, that you would rather be a doorkeeper, a servant in God's house, than to “dwell in the tents of the wicked”? Do you choose to glorify God with your thoughts, words and actions, over choosing sinful, ungodly behavior? Reflect and remember: GOD chose YOU.

James 1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
Have you ever felt like if life doesn't let up soon, you know you are just going to have a mental breakdown? I mean, if you have to keep jumping over hurdle after hurdle, problem after problem, that you might just stumble and fall, and lose the race? Yet somehow, you never seem to fall. Somehow, God always comes through at exactly the right moment ~ right before everything falls apart. God never said this race would be easy. Jesus showed us this when He came to live the perfect life in this sinful world, and to face death on the cross for His beloved children.
Jesus jumped over hurdle after hurdle, endured temptation after temptation, and overcame defeat after defeat ~ and His Father was right there with him, every time! When Satan tempted Jesus, God was there. Jesus only had to speak the Word, and tempation fled. God is here for us in the same way today. When temptation comes, when there is another hurdle to overcome, God is there. He will not let us stumble and fall, as long as our eyes are fixed on Him, on seeking Him; as long as we are focused on the upward call of Heaven. When we lose sight of Jesus, we will fall and sink. However, God is ever-ready to stretch out His hand, and help us back onto the path. Seek God in times of trial and temptation, and take rest in His promise: Jesus Christ.

Matthew 7:7 “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
Have you ever felt like God has been awfully quiet lately? Like perhaps, He has stopped listening to your prayers? Have you considered that the problem may not be related to God's answers? That the problem could be related to you?
God has said in His Word that when we ask for things that are in line with HIS will for us, we will receive them; when we seek HIS face, we will find Him; when we knock on the door of God's opportunity, that door will be opened wide. However, if we don't ask the right questions, we won't get the answers we need. We must learn to ask the right questions. We must also be willing to accept the answer that God gives, for He does not always answer prayers in the way we request or expect.
Do not ask “What do I need to do”; instead, ask “What must be done? What is YOUR will, LORD? What isYOUR plan for me?”. He will show you the way. He will show Himself to you. He will open your eyes, so you can see what He has been doing in your life all this time! He will also show you all He is willing and able to do, once you have surrendered to His will. Seek Christ, and He will show you joy and life. He will open doors and tear downwalls for you. But it all begins with a question.

Ephesians 2:8 Our love for God cannot save us, but His love for us can. It is because of His love that we are given His grace to enter the kingdom of heaven.
There is nothing we can do, by ourselves, to get to Heaven. The only way to Heaven is through faith in Jesus Christ, who died in our place, in your place, that we might all have eternal life. John 3:16 tells us “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son...” ~ because of God's love for us, Jesus was sent to bear our sins. Jesus was sent, He who had no sin was sent, so that we would be freed from the slavery of sin.
Jesus was sent to die in your place, so that you would choose to live for Him! God has known all of His children since the beginning of time. Nothing we can do will ever change the amount of love God has for us. As if His love is not enough, God gives us His grace to move us towards His own will. His grace brings us towards a closer relationship with Him, and towards fulfilling the plan He has for us. Run into His arms today! He is waiting for you!

Psalm 107:1 Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! His faithful love endures forever. 2 Has the LORD redeemed you? Then speak out! Tell others He has redeemed you from your enemies.
Part of the way God works in people's hearts is through the testimonies of His children. As Christians, we are called to tell the world about God's goodness, and to share what He has done for us in our own lives. Although not everyone will believe in God, everyone has experienced hurt. Little is more convincing to the unbeliever than a heart-felt testimony, filled with emotional truths.
Everyone has experienced pain, disappointment, or lack of joy at some time or another. Life would not be life without some trials, some valleys to walk through. Not everyone will learn to find joy in their trials though. Not everyone will experience the joy that is found only in Jesus Christ! This is why it is so important for you to share what Jesus has done in your own life! Share with your friends, your family, how God has brought you through the storm. Perhaps you are still drudging through, but if you have accepted Jesus as your Savior, you have been saved from the grave!
If eternal life does not stir in your soul a desire to shout, to dance and to praise God, what will? Seek He who can deliver you from Satan's firm grip, and live to tell the world of His boundless mercy and grace! You may be the only Jesus someone hears today.

Psalm 25:4 Show me the right path, O Lord; point out the road for me to follow. 5 Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you.
God is so good to His children, so loving, so faithful, and so willing to guide all who come to Him. Place your cares, your needs, your desires, your hopes, your dreams, and your future, into God's hands. God is more than capable of showing you more joy, more love, and more blessings than you have ever imagined ~ but you must seek Him first!
Seek the Good Shepherd, for He is calling to you! Let Jesus guide your path, for Jesus is the true Bread of Life. He is the living Word of God, and has everything you need to be filled, and overflowing with love. There is no longer a reason to be lacking. Seek God in all that you do, and your days will be filled with everlasting joy.

Proverbs 16:26 It is good for workers to have an appetite; an empty stomach drives them on.
We are all born with an appetite for the Eternal Word of God, Jesus Christ. He alone is the Bread of Life, the Living Water for which each lonely soul thirsts. In God alone there is rest for the weary, and peace for broken. Therefore, it is right that we, God's workers, have an appetite for Him.
Hunger for God drives us ever towards Him. Once we discover God's infinite love, grace and wisdom, the desire to be in His presence, to see Him shine in Glory, becomes insatiable. To be in His Word, to be singing His praises, to be sharing His message, to give Love in the name of Jesus Christ, and to bring Honor and Glory to the LORD of Hosts.
Rest assured, good worker, your appetite is good for you. Your appetite is driving you towards your destiny, towards Eternity. Stay hungry for the LORD, who alone can provide for all of your needs. You are in His hands.

1 Chronicles 4:10 - Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted his request.
God will answer our prayers, no matter how large or small. They will not always be a “yes” answer, or the answer that we would choose, but God DOES answer prayers, and He DOES have your best interest in mind! However, when we pray and seek things that are in line with His will, He opens the floodgates, and pours down His love and blessings.
Do not be afraid! God wants to bless you, but we must request our blessings! What good would it do us, and what would we ever learn, if God simply handed us everything we ever need on a silver platter? We MUST seek Him, seek His will, and seek His protection and guidance. We must submit to His plan. We must ask to be blessed. Then, we must be still, faithfully waiting for God to complete His will in our lives.
The Bible tells us to come to God in bold faith; not to fear in making requests to the Father, for in seeking His will instead of our own, God is glorified. God is pleased when we submit to His will and calling. He wants to bless you. He wants to enlarge your territory – the territory He gave you, to shine brightly for Him. He wants to guide you, and to shelter you from harm's way. He wants to give you all this, and more. Cry out to God, for He hears you.

1 Corinthians 15:56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58 Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
God's grace is unfathomable. God sent Jesus to give victory to all who accept Him ~ no conditions! Just place your faith in Him, and ask Him to live in your heart! Nothing will diminish the timeless love God has for you. God's love is eternal, and it is for all people. He just asks us to love in return.
Jesus taught that the greatest commandment is to love your neighbor. Love the neighbors in your house, down the block, at the store, at the game, on the road, on the job, in the classroom, at the concert, on the street, on vacation, at the conference, in the church... Love others.
Jesus came to show His love for the world, by dying on the cross. He won the victory over death when He rose from the grave! Stand firm in the One who gives you victory over sin and death! He wants to take you higher. God is all that you will ever need...doesn't He deserve all of you?

John 15:16 You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name. 17 This is my command: Love each other.
How incredible is it to know that you were chosen for greatness? You were chosen by the Maker of the Stars, to go into the world and produce “lasting fruit”.. spiritual fruit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. However, Jesus only gives us this directive: Love one another. Why, then, is this such a difficult task? The answer is sin. Sin is selfish, prideful, inconsiderate, and every other feeling that keeps us from our mission: The Great Commission.
Seek to live each day for your Savior, humbling yourself before others, and giving love. Stand up and get moving, for you have a divine appointment ~ with Jesus! Don't allow sin to get in the way of God's plan for you. Instead, seek Him passionately, and ask Him to show His love through you. Rest assured, He is faithful to His faithful. If you earnestly seek these things in you heart, God will hear you, and grant your request!

Psalm 119:72 Your instructions are more valuable to me than millions in gold and silver. 73 You made me; you created me. Now give me the sense to follow your commands.
You are indescribable, LORD God Almighty! Your infinite wisdom, and endless fountains overflowing with love, showering blessings on Your beloved. How patient You are, to endure my constant wanderings. No sooner do I seek you, then to find I have reverted to my own agenda...
LORD, keep me hungry for Your Word. Guide my eyes, ears, heart, and mind towards Your will. Keep me from the Evil one, safe in the shelter of Your wing. You have placed my feet on solid ground, and given me everything I need to succeed in You. Give me strength to follow You, to resist temptation, and to endure until You take me home. In Your Name, Amen.

Mark 2:16 But when the teachers of religious law who were Pharisees saw him eating with tax collectors and other sinners, they asked his disciples, “Why does he eat with such scum?” 17 When Jesus heard this, he told them, “Healthy people don’t need a doctor—sick people do. I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners.” (NLT)
Dear heart, Jesus paid the price for your sins. He does not want us to live in agony. He wants us to cast off foolish things, to pick up our cross and to follow Him. He wants us to love like He loves us: completely and unconditionally. Love without regard to what you will gain. Love for the sake of giving to someone, who hath less than yourself. Love to give glory, to the One who gave His life for you. You are so loved. You are called to love as such, and to share Jesus message with the world. Seek first His Kingdom, for He has saved you from certain death! All glory, honor and praise to God Almighty! Our God is an Awesome God!

1 Samuel 17:48 As Goliath moved closer to attack, David quickly ran out to meet him. 49 Reaching into his shepherd’s bag and taking out a stone, he hurled it with his sling and hit the Philistine in the forehead. The stone sank in, and Goliath stumbled and fell face down on the ground.
The same God that was with David as he killed the giant, is with you today, as you face your giants. God promises never to leave us or forsake us. He will guide us through every trial, every struggle, and every temptation, to keep us close to His heart. Satan makes things to seem like giants in our lives, but when we put our trust in God, our giants will be defeated. Jesus made this possible, when He gave His life for us on the cross. Jesus resurrection means that Satan will not prevail; he does not win! But it is you and I who win, through Jesus Christ, for when we believe in Him, He sets us free!

Psalm 126:5 Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. 6 Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them.
If you are in pain, anguish, and grief, then be grateful! Know you are blessed, and that one day your cup of sorrow will be replaced ~ overflowing with JOY. Your life is your testimony – your message to the world of what Christ has done for you. No matter what has happened to you, or what you have done, God knows the reason for it. He will also show you how to take joy in your struggles, for nothing compares to the price He paid on the cross.
Take JOY today, for your ransom has been paid! Give Jesus your broken pieces, and let Him rebuild you from the inside out. Let Him heal your hurts. God knows you, down to the very number of hairs on your head! He also knows the time when He will call His children home to Heaven. At that moment, when the entire earth acknowledges our LORD and KING, JESUS CHRIST, we will cease to know any pain and sadness. There will be no more tears, only songs of praise to the KING of KINGS.
LORD God Almighty, Jesus, Savior, You alone are worthy of our praise, every day! Please bless us, Jesus, and give us peace. We are but people, weak and needy. We need Your love, Your wisdom, Your guidance, and Your protection in our lives. Use and keep us, Your vessels, to do Your good will, that we may experience joy in pleasing and honoring You, LORD. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Matthew 11:28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
Take heart, dear one. Jesus came to bear your burdens, if only you will let Him! This world is so unforgiving, so ready to place blame and insult. But Jesus is not here to judge or hurt you. He is here to love you, and to bring you into a place of rest: in Him.
Such a sweet name, My Jesus, Lover of my soul, Healer, Peace Giver. Call on Him today. Let Him love you. Let Him give you rest.
