Luke 6:39 Then Jesus gave the following illustration: “Can one blind person lead another? Won’t they both fall into a ditch? 40 Students are not greater than their teacher. But the student who is fully trained will become like the teacher.
This verse is so special to me, for I know God planned for me to read it at the perfect time. God lead me to read the Bible last year, and when I opened up my reading on the very last day, this verse was there! What that said to me was that I needed to read the Bible, before I could ever explain it to someone; before I could be a good witness for Christ. I needed to understand the Word, and to know how to live as I'm called, before I could be a disciple. I needed to hear all that God had to say to me, so that I could truly learn to listen to Him.
Once I could listen (I used to be incredibly stubborn, now just sometimes ), I could learn about what He wanted me to do! God has a plan for us all! But first, we must learn to listen to Him, so we are moving towards His will (and not pushing a path of our own). One of the best ways I have learned to listen to God is to be in His Word, for the Word is God. I love to worship, praise and spend time in prayer with the Father, but in the Word is instruction; the comfort of a written message, something you can see with your own eyes. Before I learned to hear God's voice, I learned to feel Him speaking to me through the Word.
There is definitely a feeling of the Holy Spirit, and I believe it's a bit different for everyone. For me it's like I get chills, even when I shouldn't, but these chills accompanied by overwhelming feelings of "Oh my gosh, this is so true!", "I can't believe I never understood this before!", "Is this what God means?", and "I SOOO needed to hear this today". These are the types of thoughts that rush through my being, when God speaks to me. After some time, the same feeling would come while I was in prayer or worship.
Now I can feel God speaking to me often: every time I see someone hurting, in need. Every time I see someone who is lost, who needs Jesus. I am not so sure He is saying "They are hurting", so much as I am seeing them through Jesus eyes, and so am feeling His Spirit within my soul. I've asked to see the world through Jesus eyes, and to have a love like He loves. There is a lot more hurt out there than we imagine, and God will show it to you. He will also move you to love.
Yes, enrolling in God's training camp will open one's eyes. Some say that living for Jesus is like living with blinders on – but they are wrong! God will cut your blinders OFF, so that you can see everything more clearly! You will understand why people act the way they act, why living for Christ is different than being religions, why no matter what is going on in the world, the only thing that will ever make a difference in everyone's life, is JESUS CHRIST!
Lace your boots. I think training camp has begun 8).

Throughout Jesus' ministry he used parables to explain the message of God, so that it would be easier for people to understand. In one of the parables, Jesus teaches about a farmer, and uses seeds as an example of how the Gospel is received by people. Every time we share the Word, we are sowing seeds. Living a life that will bring God glory, as Jesus would have us live (IN HIM), is the ultimate in farming. Heavenly farming :D. Farming for souls. Here is the story, as it is told in Mark:
Mark 4:14 The farmer plants seed by taking God’s word to others. 15 The seed that fell on the footpath represents those who hear the message, only to have Satan come at once and take it away. 16 The seed on the rocky soil represents those who hear the message and immediately receive it with joy. 17 But since they don’t have deep roots, they don’t last long. They fall away as soon as they have problems or are persecuted for believing God’s word. 18The seed that fell among the thorns represents others who hear God’s word, 19 but all too quickly the message is crowded out by the worries of this life, the lure of wealth, and the desire for other things, so no fruit is produced. 20 And the seed that fell on good soil represents those who hear and accept God’s word and produce a harvest of thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times as much as had been planted!”
My greatest desire, and my purpose in life, is to bring God glory! Even when the struggles of life get me down, I am thankful, and praise God for blessing me as He has. I am thankful for the opportunity to minister to others, for this is a gift from God. I have no fear when I am writing for God, for I know it is His Spirit within me, and that it will be used for His purpose. And one day, when the trumpet sounds, I will see all that He has been working within me.
Until then, I want to be a hundred fold farmer 8).

John15:18 “If the world hates you, remember that it hated me first. 19 The world would love you as one of its own if you belonged to it, but you are no longer part of the world. I chose you to come out of the world, so it hates you.
LORD, thank You for choosing me. My life was nothing before You, filled with hurt and despair. I tried so many things to fill the void, to mask the pain, and to no avail. But then I sought You, and I found You. You broke open the sky, and showers of mercy poured down on my life. I was forever changed, and now I can't go back. I will follow You! Even if it means that the world hates me. I will only be here for a time, but I will be with You forever, Jesus. I live for this day.
Jesus keeps me. I do not need approval from the world to know my worth. I was bought at a great price ~ the same price that was paid for you! Can you imagine giving your life for someone you haven't even met? That's what Jesus did. He gave His life, so that you and I might live. He gave His life, so that one day we might see the pearly gates of Heaven! He stepped down from His place in Glory, to save a wretch like me. All that I am desires to bless His name! I am torn, for I wish to spend all of my time right here, writing about my love for my Savior, JESUS CHRIST!
I suppose I am reaching out, too. I feel so pressed to learn and share more about God, to the point that I am considering full time ministry somewhere, somehow. What would I do? I have no idea, but My Father does. Do you ever feel this way? I know I have Salvation, and that I can never repay Christ for HIs time on the cross, but will this urging in the depths of my soul ever relent? Each moment away from my LORD feels like an eternity, and I fail to focus on life matters, for my yearning for Jesus consumes me.
Why is this? Have I lost it? Or have I finally found it? Why do I tire of my life, though I am happy and blessed? I can hardly concentrate, for I find myself daydreaming about Jesus. How can I share more Jesus? How can I reach more souls? I can't... but He can... so I move forward.
I feel alone, but I am not. I do not know what the future holds, save my future in Heaven. I feel my efforts are for nought, though they aren't. God is at work. I trust He is at work in me, and He is at work in you. The world will hate you if you choose to follow Jesus, but when you are in Him, you can only see His light... He will sustain you, and give you joy.

Mark 2:16 But when the teachers of religious law who were Pharisees saw him eating with tax collectors and other sinners, they asked his disciples, “Why does he eat with such scum?” 17 When Jesus heard this, he told them, “Healthy people don’t need a doctor—sick people do. I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners.” (NLT)
Dear heart, Jesus paid the price for your sins. He does not want us to live in agony. He wants us to cast off foolish things, to pick up our cross and to follow Him. He wants us to love like He loves us: completely and unconditionally. Love without regard to what you will gain. Love for the sake of giving to someone, who hath less than yourself. Love to give glory, to the One who gave His life for you. You are so loved. You are called to love as such, and to share Jesus message with the world. Seek first His Kingdom, for He has saved you from certain death! All glory, honor and praise to God Almighty! Our God is an Awesome God!

Matthew 9:37 He said to his disciples, "The harvest is great, but the workers are few. 38 So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields."
As disciples of Christ we are commissioned to go into the world, and to share the gospel of Christ. Jesus instructions are very clear here: ask God to send more workers! How do we do that? Through prayer, and through obedience on our parts. We must stay focused on God's will, so we will recognize the opportunities God gives us to further His Kingdom. We must stay in the Word, so we can strengthen ourselves and each other, in Christ. We must also ask that God would work THROUGH us, for our works are useless without HIM!
LORD please bless our efforts for You. Please stir our hearts, so that more workers will stand up for Jesus; for You. We need You, and we know we are but dust without You. Word of Life, breathe on us! In Jesus Name, Amen.

John 5:21 For just as the Father gives life to those he raises from the dead, so the Son gives life to anyone he wants. 22 In addition, the Father judges no one. Instead, he has given the Son absolute authority to judge, 23 so that everyone will honor the Son, just as they honor the Father...
God does not see human beings the way we see each other, full of shortcomings and faults. No, God loves each and every human on the planet, no matter who their devotion is to, and no matter what they have or have not done. He wants to see us all in Heaven – that's why He sent Jesus to pay the price for our sins! When we choose life – when we choose Jesus – God sees us through the Son Himself. God no longer sees our sins; instead He sees us as His Beloved Children.
Thank You for choosing us for Your Kingdom, Father. May our lives shine brightly for You, through our thoughts, words and actions, that You may be glorified. These things we ask in Jesus Name, Amen.
